We are going to change our present telephone system.And we want to implement Ip Telephony in our office. If anybody know about the Ip telephony Please help me.

As per your discribe i think your going to replace your office telephony with IP Telephony
1.that need Pbx if your wish use ip then called IPPBX. there are number of Manf. but i suggest go woth Asterisk.
2.Also you need at least 512kb internet line depend on user & other usage
3.Also ask your Bandwidth provide to open all voip port like 5060 to work with
4. if you use SIP or H323 service you have to buy such service from local VOIP provider or foriegn provider.
5. if your going to user Asterisk or any other pbx on IP telephony main thing is how to interconnect PSTN users in Bahrin its need any gateway to connect with ur office ip telephony hence its legal issue as ur going to convert PSTN to voip plz enquire about that or keep secret.
6, i will suggest use Asterisk as ippbx using FXO card or box connect ur PSTn caller to ur pbx & to make forgien call subscribe any Voip Sip provider
7. also iptelephony u need diffrent device like Gateways, Ipphone or soft pohone, Analog phone adapter or Gateways. i suggest if your using VOIP use Sip thats best but enquire with your contry for voip validity

plz look is the VOIp valid in your country if yes. ask one of the good bandwidth porvider will they provide such voip service by opening port like 5060 for SIP. if possible i will consult you remotely
