took me less than a minute to sign up and then get my asterisk server registered with their service. then I proceeded to send a taunting email to some friends in the uk, so I expect I will get some phone calls on it soon.

their faq implies that they support g711, gsm, g723 and g729 but I would like to find out more for certain. it's nice that they are providing a stun server to deal with nat-foolishness. (but would be even better if they added iax support hehe)

also, I wonder if their business model has underestimated the scope of the asterisk community....

lawzamercy, I think at this point we will almost be required to have something like enum/freenum/e164 just to keep track of all the various random services we're registered with.

No kidding. I can't believe how many VoIP lines and services I have access to now.

The rates are quite good for the UK, though not as good by the time you convert to US dollars. I'm sure whomever can provide an Asterisk-friendly service with DIDs at an outgoing rate below VoicePulse's 2.9 cents a minute will have a lot of business on their hands.

Is there a premium for calling a UK non-geographic number +44 870 from a PSTN line in the US. Vonage and SIPphone definitely charge more, and I think VoicePulse does too.

Could you kindly edit your post so that it reads in ordinary English? We have many subscribers who do not speak English as well as you do and it is very difficult for them to decode your shorthand. In fact, I can't understand what you are asking and I have spoken English my whole life.
