FCC seeks to wiretap Internet calls

This might be old news around here, but I found it interesting:

As I understand it, it subjects VoIP carriers that provide PSTN access to CALEA obligations. It wouldn't apply to "unmanaged" services like Free World Dialup. Many of the carriers I've talked to prior to this FCC announcement suggested they would be trying to comply with CALEA anyway.
