While trying to work out a solution for the original poster I missed that hitch. No matter though, I found a more flexible VSP that has prices as good or better than voip.ms. Their name is
Future Nine. If you open an account at Future Nine they will actually change your user-ID if you ask, so you could make it the same as your Gizmo name or 1747xxxxxxx number.
It turns out that changing user-id is not necessary because Future Nine has an open proxy, so you can forward your Gizmo calls to <6-digit-login>@incoming.future-nine.com (and set your ATA to register to incoming.future-nine.com). I've already tested this and it works to receive GrandCentral calls.
Because Future Nine has
Direct_Inward_Dialings at reasonable prices they would be a good choice for those who want all their VoIP features from one outfit. The selection of DIDs seems to be good.
