Configuring Cisco ATA wita Gateway

I am pretty new to cisco voip and trying to setup a lab at home. I 've got two cisco ata and a 2611xm router. how do i setup my dialpeers and ATAs so that they call call each other. is there any example out there to guide me through it. Actually there was one on cisco web site but it was a little vague for me.(I need something more intuitive.
