Question Compact PBX with one FXO port?

Hello

I'm looking for a solution for a friend who needs a very basic PBX that would look like the Linksys SPA-9000 with the following features:
- solid-state PBX with standard features like ring group, call transfer, etc.
- support for up to 5 VoIP accounts
- one FXO port to handle an incoming POTS line

They don't know anything about telecom and VoIP. That's why I'd like something that just works, and am reluctant to tell them to get a PC with Linux + one FXO card + Asterisk.

If only Linksys offered an FXO port with either the SPA-9000 or their WRT54G router, it'd be the ticket.

Thanks.

By five VoIP accounts do you mean extensions? Or VoIP provider accounts?

I would recommend either the SPA9000 with a SPA3102 (if they don't want voice mail), SPA400 if they do.

Or the Talkswitch 284vs, it is very popular with non-technical small businesses. Here's the product review I did for the larger version, the features are similar.

Sorry, I didn't know the correct terms. I meant "extensions".

That's what I had in mind actually, but ideally, I'd like a single unit.

BTW, just as a demo for them: I have a spare Linksys SPA-3102. Since it comes with an FXS and WAN interfaces, is it possible to configure it as a two extension, poor man's PBX which, when a call comes in the FXO port, it rings both the FXS and one remote VoIP phone, and whichever extension can pick up the call?

Thanks for the tip about the Talkswitch 284vs. At $1,500, it's a bit more than I intended, but I'll take a look.
