Default Call forward pots line 1 to pots line 2

I write having spent all day in here and on the net looking for a box to do this:

Incoming call on line 1 (my house phone)

forward to outgoing phone number on line 2 (my mobile)

If I use my service provider's call forwarding I pay by the minute for the call.
If I can dial the number "myself" then I pay nothing beyond a fixed fee per month.

The different is hundreds of my currency per month.

It is important that my provider cannot detect it is a machine doing the forward.

Clearly there are many sophisticated tricks (voip/gsm) I could use with voip, but since this one is basically free based on the service provider, it seems sensible to use it. The problem with that is every gadget I can find is all about "escape from pots" into SIP (which ordinarily is fine).

I envisage a cheap and simple box. Please?

Needs to be available in Switzerland or shippable here without massive cost.

Many thanks for ideas,

Anthony
p.s. I appreciate this isn't technically a voip question, but plain old telephone systems don't have a place any more, so please bear with my hope that someone knows of a gadget that happens to do what I need.

If I read your posting correctly you wish to forward an incoming pstn (pots) call coming in on one line to an outgoing pstn (pots) call on a second pstn line.

I believe you could do an automatic bridging of an incoming pots (pstn) call to an outgoing pots (pstn) call using two (2) Linksys SPA3102's each attached to a network router. As an alternative to the router, you might be able to do it with just a crossover ethernet cable. The configuration would not be too complicated but I'm sure it would not qualify as "cheap and simple box."

The incoming call to the first SPA3102 would be answered after a preset delay period and then automatically forwarded (over the ethernet network) to the second SPA3102 which would automatically dial your desired number. If it makes any difference, the ringback to the calling party might be interrupted during the dialing period on the second SPA3102.

Thank you for your reply. Funnily enough one of my brother's suggested that solution as he has an SPA3102. As you say, not exactly simple

My desire for simplicity is that the appartment is unattended most of the time (for months at a time) and I want to avoid having to go there to reset boxes after powercuts, which are quite regular. So everything has to reset itself. My experience in this area is that while it all works in theory, something always goes wrong. I have a Zyxel 2602HWL there, but have never got the outgoing FXO to take outgoing calls transferred from voip, since in theory this box should do exactly what I ask - though does not meet the "simple" requirement; there is a firmware update dated July (I think), so maybe it will now work, but I am finding that hard to believe (which I grant is not a technical reason! just experience).

Since writing my question and surfing more in this forum I was wondering whether an FX300 might do the trick?
That is if I can find somewhere to buy one.

Anthony
