Hi to everyone

Does anyone know what is a B-number in telephony?

are you sure it's not the btn ? which is the "bill to number" which is usally the main number of a group of numbers on a bill.

yes i am sure that it is called B-number.I also searched in the internet found a couple of sites mentioning this but i could not understand what it is.

yea i've worked in telecom for sometime now and never heard of a b number can you post some of the sites that mention it just a search in google dosnt really come up with much that refers to anything to do with telecom

I think in telecom B-number is the number of called party and A-number is the number of calling party.You can check it out in following link.
