| | SPA-1001 is not working. Hi all,
I bought a SPA-1001 a month ago, now the device turned bad. I am trying to get the replacement by filling out the form. I got one reply from rt@voxilla.com to ask me to do further check on the device. I did the theck and replyed the email. Since that, rt@voxilla.com never give me answer to replace my bad device.
Does any one have problem to get the replacement from the Voxilla store?
Regards,

| | RE: SPA-1001 is not working. What exactly is the problem, and why are you convinced that the problem lies in the SPA?
What service provider are you trying to use? What router are you using? Do you have any other SIP clients behind this router? Do they work well? Did you configure the SPA using the Voxilla Wizard or did your service provider configure it for you?
With answers to a few questions we can either get your SPA working or confirm that it is defective.

| | Hello,
I am glade some one answering my question. Thanks you.
The device had been working for a month, then suddenly died when I was talking with my friend, of course, the call was cut. I called broadvoice to troubleshoot problem. The broadvoice tech determined the problem was the device.
I did the following ways to determined the problem device too:
1) Can't ping the device. Enable DHCP, got SPA IP address from the phone. The device did not get the IP address from my DHCP server in the router. Anyway, I set my computer net mask and the gateway to match the device. Then ping it, guess what, it is "Request timed out. |

As I said in at least one of the threads, we've been behind on the support queue, which should get cleaned up over the weekend. Your device is definately RMA material, though.
