Default Recycle of mobile phones

Last week I'd a small debate with my colleagues regarding, Is recycling a waste of time, money and energy? Now I want to discourse the same topic with you. What is your opinion about paper recycling, phone recycling and other items? Do you think it is worth to recycle and how can it will useful to environment?

1. Recycling makes less waste for all of us. It's better for the environment and better for our future.

2. I think we also save something because there will be less raw materials. The cost of processing the recycle items is less than processing a raw materials plus the cost of raw materials itself.

3. I guess there's no three.

Its nota new concept i remember nokia introducing its kiosks for this. Nokia placed Kiosks in central Klang Valley of Malaysia to collect old and broken phones to recycle.

Yeah recycling is like hitting 2 birds with two stones.

Less waste and at the same time we save on raw materials. Not sure tho how much is spent on facilities.

Should be useful to the environment since less resources are used, with resources I mean the raw materials that are required to make the particular product that would later be recycled.

Phone recycling is new to me :P I tend to lose my cell phones after a few years (or ealier :P) so I wouldn't think of that... But the plastics could be recycled on it..don't know about the circuit boards though.. but im no expert
