Definition: A proposed APS standard that allows SIP hardware vendors to ship phones and adapters that are automatically configured each time they are restarted.

It would be nice if this encyclopedia had some sense of completeness. If you want to know what an "APS" standard is, you won't find it in this encyclopedia. APS is MIA under the letter A. If you're going to refer to a telecom acronym in a telecom encyclopedia, then than acronym should be defined somewhere within it.
