Default Cookie trouble anyone?

This forum is the only one where I can't get the following scenario to work:
I visit the Sipura UG forum and see X threads that have been updated/ are new. When I read a thread and return fo the Sipura UG forum index, the thread is still marked as having new posts even though I've read it. Then I click on the "mark all threads read" button in that subforum.. after 5 seconds, the subforum reloads, and the threads previously marked as being new/update are still marked as such. Then I use the "mark all forums read" on the forum entry page, and after the reload, the same subforums that were previously marked as having new posts are still marked as such.
This happens with Firefox 1.5.0.4, Firefox 2.0 beta1 and IE6. Basically the only way I can get threads properly marked as read is when my session times out.

On top of that, say I make a post, then back in the subforum index I don't see the post (if it's new), or it doesn't move to the top because the subforum index doesn't even list my post..

I have been having similar issues lately too... dont think its cookie related, cos, lets say, I make a post, then edit it... the eidt doesn't appear for quite a while...even if I load voxilla on different browsers (OPera and IE) on the same computer.

Nobody? I hate to be a pain but this is imho an issue the admin should be concerned about.. I've never seen a board software fail this completely as this one and I've been around plenty of boards.

I'll look into the posting issue and see if it is something we can fix.

We are in the process of moving the forum from phpBB to vBulletin.

vBulletin? Great.. I run a vbb board myself and I've never had an issue with that (some users have though when they refuse cookies altogether).
