Default How to configure the SPA-941 MWI for CGPro

How to configure the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) on a SPA941 for use with CommuniGate Pro 5.1c.2.

Log into the SPA941 as Admin.

Select Advanced configuration.

Go to the Ext 1 or Ext 2 tab.

Enter the username@domain for the mailbox in the Voicemail Server field. You can use either the username or extension alias for the username.

Leave the Mailbox ID field empty.

When I set this configuration, I found that the value in the Message Waiting Yes/No box didn't matter. The value would change back to No after an update. But the MWI would still work correctly and the SPA941 would still send message-summary SIP requests to the server.

This was tested with version 4.1.12(a) of the SPA941 software.

Default RE: How to configure the SPA-941 MWI for CGPro

This method does not work with the SPA942. I'm currently working with CommuniGate and Linksys to resolve the issue.

Question Re: How to configure the SPA-941 MWI for CGPro

We have polycom phones working behind CGP 5.2.13. When there is a message we receive MWI, however after listening to the message it doesn't clear MWI.

I wonder if anybody is having an answer!
