Default SPA3102 Single DTMF tone every so often during PSTN conversation

Very puzzling, maybe a regionalisation/electrical issue?

All and any feeback greatly appreciated.

I haven't been able to find that earlier thread. I also experience this DTMF tone on an SPA3102 occasionally, but this is on VOIP calls not PSTN. I don't hear the tones on the phones directly connected to the SPA, only the remote party hears the tone. (I.e., my wife calls me at work from home where we have an SPA3102, I hear a random DTMF tone on the phone at work and she doesn't hear it at home.) We use Voicepulse Connect.

This has been happening for as long as we've had the SPA, at least 2 years. Any more information about the problem would be appreciated.

I think the links refer to PSTN problems but here they are anyway:

Hope this helps
