Question SPA3102 Setting

Hello,

I just got a SPA3102 and installed it using inphonex is my provider.

The box is connected directly to my cable modem and my router is connected to the SPA3102. Also i have a phone line connected to it and a regular phone.

The setup went fine and when I call my virtual number (DID) the phone rings (if the land line is not connected to it), I am able to receive and make calls through the VOIP.

Now, when I connect my land line to the box and call the virtual number, the voip phone ring once and it shows the caller id number and I can not recive the call. From the cell phone I am calling the virtual number from I hear the land line beep (I changed it later to pin and it works fine) and when I dial a number it calls it on the land line (I could see on the second cell phone which I am dialing the caller id which shows my home [land line] number not the VOIP number).

My issue is, how I make the voip phone ring for a while before it switch me to the land line? I tried a lot of settings (pstn answer delay) and it was not successful.

The second issue is, how I get to choose between the land line and the voip when I make a phone call I want to use my land line for local calls, but the voip is the default line and I do not know how to switch to the land line from the same phone.

What i would love to have as an ideal setup is:

Inbound calls come t the virtual number (DID) and the phone ring for something like 30 seconds or 5 rings. Then if there is no answer the SPA3102 pick the call and allow the caller either to leave a voice mail or enter a pin to get to the land line to use it to dial in.

Also I would like to make the voip line ring differently than the landline so I know on which line the caller is calling me.

I want to have the phone connected to the SPA3102 to be used to receive and make both voip and landline calls.

For outbound calls I would like to have a choice between the voip and the land line. A different dial tone to make me know that I switched to the landline (or the voip) or anything which make me know after I click a # for example that the line switched will be go. Of course first I need to set the # to switch between voip and landline.

Thanks a lot for your help. As you see I am very new to this. I got the AtA guide but I am still confused how to accomplish this setup.
