Default Requesting assistance from the experts ...

I have a PAP2T unlocked and have been trying to use voicestick on Line 1
I have read the threads that reference voicestick as well as doing a google search. I configured the box as recommended at http://www.voipconfig.com/voicestick_screenshot.htm

Here are my screenshots.

I continually receive the message -- Can't connect to login server.
The SJphone program works fine on my computer .. can receive and make calls.

Can anyone assist me ??

Thanks

Here are some more screenshots including the port forwarding (DMZ):

By the way, I had "USE OB IN PROXY DIALOG" set to NO and I still get the same can't connect message.

Thanks,

I found this instruction for Voicestick on PAP2 Unlock Linksys PAP2 Phone Adapter - quoted
I don't know why but it says: "You must use line 2/SIP port 5061".

ok .. I did a factory reset (73738) and put all the info as recommended from the webpage into Line 2/ port 5061, but I still get the same message .. can't connect to login server.

Also, I put my info from sipnumber.net into Line 1 and it works fine.

I appreciate all your help so far ...

It looks like you have the correct settings if your password is correct.I would verify that I had the right VoiceStick password. As a test, I would get it to run on on your pc using their download softphone.

NAT transversal thru your router and your router's firewall is the most probable problem that you might have at this point. I would stop the port forwarding and try using a STUN server to see if that helped.

VoiceStick has always been difficult for some to configure. They require the outbound proxy in that your register request must say i2telecom.com but you must send the register request to some numbered ip address. The allure, of course, is that they have a loss leader policy on DID's buying them from Level3 and then giving them away.

Here is a long thread talking about VoiceStick configurations:

Thank you for assisting me in my problem.
I did as you recommended, but it still won't connect to the login server.

I checked my account on the voicestick softphone, and it works completely. I made sure my password and account were correct on the PAP2T

I tried using 206.165.50.101 instead of i2telecom.com in the proxy box, and also raised the network jitter level but it did help

I put $PING instead of $NOTIFY in the NAT keep alive msg but that didn't help

I removed my port forwarding and enabled a stun server. I used what you recommended (stun.softjoys.com). I did notice that now it shows SIP mapped ports as being different (50034) than the 5061.

I did manage to fix the time by placing pool.ntp.org in the Primary NTP server.

I believe both of my lines work because if I put in another sip account, it registers fine and the light turns green on both lines.

I updated my software version from 3.1.9(LS) to 5.1.3(LS) hoping that would fix it, but that didn't help.

Do you have any other suggestions ??

I appreciate your help ...

I also had problems using the IP address as the outbound proxy. Try using sbc1.voicestick.com as the outbound proxy.
