Default PSTN exceptions for caller ID pattern and PSTN access list

Would it be possible for someone from Voxilla to ask Sipura to add the following feature to the next Spa 3k firmware upgrade please.

I cannot believe no-one else wants this feature.

What do I need to do? Re-send my email to Sipura? Send an email to Voxilla?

Any suggestions?

I think you did well by bumping your post after three days of quiet. Personally, I didn't respond three days ago because I wasn't quite comfortable with the way you laid out the operation of the proposed feature, but I didn't have it sorted out in my own mind how I would counterpropose. Then, over these past three days I let your proposal slip my mind.

It's three days later now, and you have reignited that ember. I still must sit and think about how I would like to see the feature operate, how to make it a simpler firmware patch than the way you proposed, and how to formulate a poll question that we all could easily understand and respond to.

My initial thought is on the order of adding one new parameter that points to a DP to use if the caller's Caller ID does not match the "Caller ID Pattern". This DP could then be populated with a single telephone number, for example.

I like your idea. I just think that the way you have proposed that it function is a little more complicated than it needs to be. Let's see if we can jump start the conversation.

Yes that sounds great, mberlant. I'm sure if what you suggest can be programmed in it would do just exactly what I need.
