Alex:

I guess Sipura 1001 doesn't accept <:@fwd.pulver.com> in Dial plan. This kind of dial plans is exclisive of Sipura 3000.

BV does not control this aspect of how your self provisioned SPA behaves. I have found that there are two considerations at work here. One or both may be getting in your way of success.

Interdigit timeout does not work properly in this scenario. You need to push the # key at the end of your dialed FWD number, as in *393-55555-#.

Asterisk keys are not handled properly by any Sipura device when they need to be dialed anywhere but the beginning of the Dial Plan element. Thus, you may not be able to handle toll free calls via FWD using the Dial Plan element you have crafted.

My reasoning may be flawed but it goes something like this:
The dialplan I've outlined above is for Line 1 and I presumed that it would be a good safe guard that we have atleast one phone that, if Asterisk goes down, we can still dialout via the PSTN wthout any major reconfigs?

On my PSTN line I have (<S0:100>) which sends all incoming calls to a Group.

As you have read in previous postings, even within the last fortnight, the SPA-3000 has a power failure relay on board. When you lose power or your Asterisk goes down the relay will disengage and strap the LINE jack to the PHONE jack on your SPA.

Many people set their Line 1 Dial Tone to be something slightly different from their phone company's Dial Tone for just this reason. If you pick up the phone and hear the Telecom Dial Tone you know that your VoIP service is unavailable and that the call will be going out via Telecom. If you hear the "Asterisk" Dial Tone you know that Asterisk is healthy and your call will be going out via the route Asterisk chooses.

Yes ... was aware of the power failure relay of the SPA3000, but wasnt aware that it would also pick up that the external ASterisk box was unavailable.

Thanks for that.

How do you expect the SPA to understand when it is supposed to insert 011 and when it is not supposed to insert 011? Anything is possible with the SPA-2000's Dial Plan, but you need to understand what you are asking for in order to make it work.

From the Sipura Manual Page 85 of 87.
Quote:
An explicit ‘send’ (user presses the ‘#’ key): the digit sequence is accepted and transmitted as
dialed if incomplete, or transformed as per the dial plan if complete.
