| Has anyone else experienced problems with virtual numbers? My virtual number just rings and rings when called, but never rings the actual telephone or goes to voicemail. The standard number does. I've had a ticket open for a few days but they haven't fixed it yet. -Nat |

| After several calls to support I was able to get them to tell me that it was a problem with the carrier and the local exchange I chose for the number. Unfortunately they are still unable to give me an expected resolution date. -Nat |

| Going on two weeks now with no resolution, BroadVox hasn't even attempted to get the carrier to pass along a resolution date. It would be one thing if this was an new exchange or something, but BroadVox lists this as a standard exchange with available numbers. Even though in the service ticket BroadVox claims there's no way they can currently provide any number in this exchange they still list it as available when you select a number. -Nat |

| Just got this email a few minutes ago. I tested the F&F number and it finally works after a month of waiting for the issue to be resolved. If you have a ticket open with BroadVox Direct I suggest calling frequently to push your issue. It seems the only time work got done on my ticket was when I called them. Quote:
The most annoying thing is that BroadVox Direct kept blaming the carrier in this issue. I agree the carrier appears to be at fault here, for not supporting G711, but the carrier did nothing to fix this issue, and it still took support a month to offer a fix that was entirely under their control. Yesterday was the first day the NOC started working on the ticket, and only then was issue resolved. Clearly the squeeky wheel gets the grease here. -Nat |

| I would suspect the carrier is not meeting their spec, and they lowered their spec to get it working. It would be nicer if they said they would investigate further about g.711 compliance.
