Default unlock procedure for SPA-3000

I just signed up with Broadvoice and they locked my SPA3000. I asked for the credentials from them, which they emailed to me along with the admin password.
What do I need to do to the unit before using the SPA configuration wizard? Do I need to reinstall firmware, or do a system reset, etc...? How do I prevent Broadvoice from re-configuring my settings?

thanks

First thing you need to do is unconfigure any Profile Rules in the Provisioning tab, which will prevent BroadVoice from relocking the device. Second thing is set the Admin password to something else (or just blank it out).

I removed the Profile Rules in the Provisioning Tab, and then I changed the administrator password. I didn't change any other configuration parameters. After I did this, I lost the dial tone from BroadVoice. I haven't run the SPA configuration tool yet, but all the previous settings (set by BroadVoice) are still stored in the SPA300. Is this expected?

thanks PhoneBoy

That shouldn't happen, maybe the two things are unrelated. I'd ask BroadVoice about it just to be sure.
