Looking through the current topics I think I am not the only one suffering from this. In the last 7 days I can only get into voicemail one out of ten times. It keeps telling me that the password is wrong, or sometimes the touch tones do not seem to be accepted as I can hear the announcement as I press the buttons. I am a BV provisioned user using a SPA-1001. Other solutions I have read seem to depend on me not being provisioned by BV. Any suggestions?

I had a problem for the longest time with Broadvoice with DTMF not being transmitted properly when trying to dial an extension, using phone banking, etc. In calling myself I usually heard no touchtone, clicks, or just slivers of a tone. I own a Sipura 2100, and tried several setting changes mentioned here. A few days ago, on another famous VOIP forum, I read a suggestion to change DTMF Tx Method: to "InBand." It's set to "Auto" by default. I found it in the Line 1 (where I have Broadvoice set) Advanced tab. After doing that, touchtones were transmitted for as long as I held down the button, like on a POTS line. So I'm now a happy camper. Also, FYI, Line 2 of my Sipura 2100 I have set for FreeWorldDialup. I switched that to "InBand" too, but didn't get the same results. FreeWorldDialup works better on the "Auto" setting, so I switched it back.

My problem is that I am provisioned by BV. I did go through the process of trying to break the provioning, but it would not register on their network. I am not sure if I needed an AUTH ID or not? I never recall getting one. Any ideas?

If you're talking about BV voicemail, in my experience you will have no luck at all if your DTMF Tx Method is set to "InBand." For me BV voicemail works fine with DTMF set to "Auto". This does not work with just one number I call occasionally, in which case I set provisioning to "No" and DTMF Tx Method to "Inband" to make the call, then later set Provisioning Enable back to Yes to clear the changes.
