Very eerie! I've been looking around for a replacement for BV in case they don't get their act together in the next month or two and I found mention of SureVoice either here or over at DSLreports.com. I started reading their FAQ in detail at:
http://www.surevoice.com/faq.htm
There are several places when their SV tarrifs in the FAQ are different than the rest of their SV web-site, but are exactly the same as *BV*. Looking more closely, I note that several of the sections are basically the same as BV's faq.
For the record: I was an early adament supporter of BV, then a very loud critic, and now I just want to find VOIP which works for me and is priced along the lines of BV.
I've said I'll stay with BV if they get their act together, but I've got to say that I still see technical and support problems, I have echo problems again, VM had a very strange occurance for me today, and I note that BV is out of phone numbers for CA 818, way down for 619, and has none for NV despite the statements by support about regular provisioning. After following number availability for three months now for several areas of interest, I haven't seen anything new added, just old numbers get used up.
Anyways, if anyone has anything about SureVoice, I'd love to hear it. And, if you work for BV, watch out: my clock is running out and I'm gonna feel pretty taken advantage of if you don't perfom the way I was personally promised by one of your VIPs.
Cheers,
- Don
