Default SPA 2100 incompatible with Linksys router?

My Sipura from BV works great but it will not work with the Linksys BEFW11S4 v.4 wireless router. I downloaded the latest firmware to the Linksys router but that didn't help. I am hooking it up both ways: cable modem to WAN router -- LAN router to WAN SPA 2100 -- 2100 LAN (PC) to computer LAN. Also tried: modem to 2100 WAN -- 2100 PC to router WAN -- router LAN to computer.
The problem seems to be that the 2 devices will not communicate with each other. Is it possible to correct this with set up? The IP address is 192.168.0.1 on the SPA 2100 and 192.168.1.1 on the Linksys router.

I have my Sipura 2100's WAN port plugged into a Linksys router with no problem. Both are DHCP servers, with I believe the same set-up as you. The Linksys's LAN IP is 192.168.1.1, with it passing out IPs starting at 192.168.1.100. My SPA's LAN IP is also 192.168.0.1, and I think it's passing out IPs starting at 192.168.0.2. I'm not using the SPA 2100 as a router, though.

I tried it the same as your setup with the SPA 2100 not as a router and it didn't work. Maybe it is my cable. I just checked and it is straight through, not crossover. I am not sure which to use. Each unit works fine by itself, they just won't talk to each other.

I finally got it fixed. The ethernet cable had 4 of the wires shorted!!! Then I had to change the IP address on my router (it had the same IP address as the SPA 2100, presumably) cause I changed it to the address that was suppose to be set in the SPA 2100 and now everything works! I couldn't get into the SPA 2100 program -- maybe it is locked by Broadvoice. Thanks for all the help!

If BV is provisioning your 2100's SIP configuration you will need to ask them for the password to get into that section.

Just bought a router and had the same problem with being able to access the ATA from the WAN side. Found that I had to set "Enable WAN Web Server:" to "Yes" (duh!)
