Default Some stuff about ATL proxy and codecs

proxy.atl.broadvoice.com supports G726.32, G729 and G723.
Quality is VERY good with the 726 and is below average with the other two. (the 726 implementation means I can finally use 3-way conferencing from my underpowered Russian 105 kbs upstream line that won't handle two G711 streams).

What it does not support at the moment is Call Manager. When registered to ATL, calls dialed via web-based CM will return "resource unavailable".

And, as an update to this thread, NYC proxy (and maybe some others) will allow you to go 726/729/723 for both incoming and outgoing calls, including CallManager-initiated ones.

Man, I was absent for a few weeks and I missed all the good news; namely, new proxies! OK, now I know about ATL and BOS, but what is the other new proxy? There is a gap which I cannot fill: which proxy belongs to 147.135.24.128? Tracing it ends up in DC, but there already is a DCA proxy: 147.135.0.128!

I do not currently see 147.135.24.128 as being online.
I think ATL is the only latest addition.
We (the European BV customer block) keep waiting for a London or Germany proxy, but nothing new has come up on this front as yet.
