Default Shared Line Appearance 2 devices on account, BV said yes/no?

Considering signing up with BV (tried vonage and iconnecthere and wasn't happy with either for various reasons.) After doing a lot (some, a fair bit <g>) of research I have the following questions.

Following are some excerpts from an article linked from this page on their site.

The article link goes to this page.

Instead, the company has come up with an innovative way of ensuring that users don't abuse the open credential system. According to Epstein, in addition to monitoring usage patterns to look for suspect activity, which many providers do, BroadVoice will also charge the end-user 3.9 cents per minute if more than one outbound call is active using the same set of SIP credentials (except in the case of a three-way call).

Note that there are several innaccuracies on the BV website that, despite being called to the attention of BV support, have not been fixed. One item is that the BV website lists "Simultaneous Ring" as a premium feature, whereas it's actually a standard feature and comes with (so far) no extra charge -- works well for me anyways.

Also, there are several features which are marked as "Coming Soon" on the web portal whcih are available thru the "Call Manager" configuration controls.

Best thing on something like this, is to do what you've done: ask here for folks who actually have *experience* with the feature you're interested in. It amazes me that BV can't straighten out some of these ambiguities, it's not rocket science to update text in a web page.

Just a rant,
- Don

So, does this mean that if I pay $3.95 per device and $9.95 for the setup fee, I can be on both, geographically separate devices, at the same time?

How would this work if location A receives a call and they want to speak with someone at location B? could you, somehow, transfer the call to lcation B?

thanks,
