Default Provisioning bv

I do not like that I cannot change my admin password without having it changed back by broadvoice. It would not surprise me, if they un-did other changes I have made in my spa3k.
What would happen if I took the Profile Rule under Provisioning (http://config.broadvoice.com:8080/$MA.cfg) out?

That's the way provisioning works. Remove the Profile Rule, and your device won't be changed by BroadVoice any longer. You're on your own in terms of device configuration.

I think I will set provisioning to disable then.

Another question: I was able to place a regular seven digit phone call without entering 1+area code (voip call). It was my understanding that you always have to dial 1+area code, unless your dial plan does that for you. The only dial plan in my config is the standard one (*xx|#xx|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.).
Do my calls run through some kind of remote dialplan a broadvoice computer??

BroadVoice's switch adds the 1+area code to the number dialed.

Thx for your answer.
Is bv adding or doing other things that would be helpful to know?!

Your standard dial plan has a 7 digit dial entry: the [2-9] followed by 6 x's. This dial plan accepts * followed by any two digits, # followed by any two digits, 311, 411, 611, 911, 0, 00, seven digits beginning with 2 or higher, 11 digits beginning with 1 and having a 2 or higher in the 5th digit, and any 10 digits.

I can make 7 digit calls because of the switch at broadvoice, adding the 1+area code, not because of my dial plan - without the switch I would have to define the 1+area code within my dial plan

I know, the dial plan should work when I call the pstn in order to make a voip call. But for whatever reason, after calling the pstn, entering the pin, getting second dial tone and dialing to a destination, I receive a fast busy tone.

This is probably BV's way of telling you that you can't have one line appearing at more than one place at the same time.

Ok, but I thought when I call the pstn via a landline (not via voip) in order to get a second dial tone that I only use one line for voip (the one for the call originating at the spa?

Please tell me if there is a thinking error: When I dial via landline, the PSTN-Line of the spa answers (it would answer even if I did not have any provider) and gives me a second dial tone after entering my pin. For that second dial tone, the provider that is listed under Line 1, Subscriber Information is used, unless my dial plan uses a different gateway??!!
