Port Vonage # to BroadVoice

Is it also possible to port my vonage number to BroadVoice ? this # was origianlly given by vonage, not ported by me to vonage.

Anyone has such experience?

I moved this from another thread because it was for a different provider (BroadVoice != BVX, i.e. Broadvox Direct)

I'm not sure BroadVoice is porting numbers as of yet. Also, I thought Vonage didn't allow you to port a number out unless you ported it in initially (i.e. you can't port out a Vonage-assigned number)

Thats what i feel, i also called lingo and told by customer service that vonage would'nt allow us to port there numbers. Planning to get BroadVoice, not very sure about ther service, yesterday also called them (BV) and noticed that customer service is not that good, left a msg did'nt got a call back.

May b i need to research BV bit more ...
