Default One VOIP/SPA3000 with PIN access

Hello,

I am new to this SPA3000 world and would like some assistance.

I have two VOIP services (Vonage and Broadvoice) and no PSTN line coming to my house.

Here is what I am trying to do. Option one is what I really need done, if not option two.

Just to let you know I have already configured the SPA3000 with broadvoice and able to make calls from home using my phone connected to the FXS port.

1) I need to be able to call from outside my home using cell/other phone and be prompted (pin) and get a tone to dial my destination number. Nothing connected to the FXO port or FXS in this option.

What do I need to make this happen?

2) I connected my Vonage line to the FXO port of the SPA3000 after configuriging the PSTN Line tab under PSTN-VOIP with Pin access. I wanted vonage to act as the PSTN FXO line, but all I get is a prompt for the PIN and silence, no dial tone.

Am I doing something sooo crazy, even I confuse my self or I missed something?

Your help will be greatlly appreciated. I spent many days/nights trying to figure this out.

Thanks

baadiyo
