Office Live Server 2005 vs Asterisk server

Ok, I setup LCS 2005 at home, and I have broadvoice. I have a SPA-3000 and it works right now. But I know Broadvoice will allow multiple devices to be register end of summer. I want to register my LCS 2005 server and make it a SIP server, so I can use IM or Outlook to call people.

How anyone tried it? Is it possible to make phone calls? I think LCS 2005 is the only version that supports voice. Should I chuck LCS 2005 and install asterisk server? Anyone successfully installed and configured asterisk server with Broadvoice? Please please let me know. I will love it if I can have my own SIP server and I can call from anywhere over the web. Thanks.

I am unfamiliar with the LCS 2005, but there are several hundred people here who have configured Asterisk to work with BroadVoice. This is well documented in both the BroadVoice and Asterisk forums here.
