| | Not able to make international (non-US) calls Anyone else experiencing issues with calling overseas?
I get 5-10 secs of silence after dialing then I get the standard message that "my call could not be completed at this time, try again later".
I'm trying the UK & France. Calls to the US seem to be working.
BV support is unreachable. |

I seem to be able to make calls in my area code, but calls to anywhere else are not going through. Initially, I thought that the problem was limited to calls to the UK, it seems that it is a bigger problem than that.
I called BroadVoice support about an hour ago, and they acknowledged the problem - they told me that their engineers are working on it. Of course, there is no service announcement in their account portal!
I've tried using each one of their proxy servers (I usually use the vanilla proxy.broadvoice.com) and the problem doesn't seem to be with the proxy servers. |

Today calling Brazil (land or cell) does not work at all.
Calling BV support at 611 only gives a busy signal, sometimes after waiting on hold for 10 minutes, sometimes right away. I'm now on my ninth attempt at calling them.
Can't reach BroadVoice support by phone, nor email, and international calling doesn't work... hmm, maybe it will get better tomorrow?
Somehow this is not the way the BroadVoice website described the experience... |

The rest of the time I never connected. Tonight I only got through twice but the quality was so bad I just used my cell. Local calls seem fine
....do you have any clever ideas about calling a cellphone in Rio? I have a Sipura SPA3000, port converter, Dock-n-Talk, and a second cell (no landline available).
