No VOIP with Broadvoice I am using an AVM Fritzbox 7170 which is an all in one solution for all your needs (WIFI, router, phone PBX etc.) but unforutnately since a recent upgrade by AVM I am not able to log on to Broadvoice anymore. The request is hitting the server at broadvoice, but only very, very briefly logs on and most of the time I get a timeout error message. It is very annoying and I cannot use Broadvoice with my router anymore. It does work with Softphone, which I hardly use ,though, because of the inferior quality.
What can be done ?? The VOIP experts are needed.
Neither AVM nor Broadvoice will help me. Broadvoice claims if it work with Softphone it is not their problem. AVM claims that their hardware including their new Software works with all other providers and suggested to change the provider, but I do not know any other provider that gives me free calls to 35 international countries. I am quite frustrated to say the least. |
