The new portal is three steps forward and two back. Several features that were working with the old portal are now marked as Coming Soon e.g. Call Notify by e-mail and Call Forwarding Selective (ok, perhaps that one was not there before).
Some items that were configurable on/off now seem to be "on" with no obvious way to turn them off (not that I'd want to turn them off - these are in Features -> Call Control): Broadvoice Call Manager (solution is to just not start it), Call Hold, Call Transfer, and Three Way Call.
Fortunately they now have the 2 things I most wanted: online billing and access to Voicemail via the web. Unfortunately my first attempt to access my voicemail revealed a problem:
There were three VMs. I clicked and listened to one of them. I then clicked the "selection" box and "Delete all selected" and it deleted ALL of my voicemails, not just the selected one. OOOps. |
