VJ,
I, too, battled with BroadVoice for a few months, enduring countless call drops, one-way audio, fast-busy incoming calls (that never make it through).
Finally, I decided I'd had enough (and my wife wanted to switch back to POTS). I read tons of reviews, and ended up signing up with VoicePulse. It's been PHENOMENAL! Nothing at all like BV's quality.
Of course, there are people who will stick up for BV. I admit I really did want BroadVoice to work. I loved the web interface, and the monthly bill ($9.95 unlimited in-state, plus taxes and FCC reg fess brought that to $12.82/month with NO long-distance calls). Now I'm paying $14.99/month for unlimited calling to 5 adjacent area codes (which more than covers all my in-state calling), plus 200 minutes/month of LD calling included. No taxes, no fees. $14.99/month - period. If I exceed my 200 minutes of LD calling/month, I'm charged per minute at a rate of something like $0.034/minute (3.4 cents/minute), which is perfectly acceptable to me.
Just my opinion, but I wanted to share my story 'cause I know where you're coming from...
