| I have been having problems with incoming calls today. The calls reach the BV system but my own phone does not ring so I do not know that I have a call until I see the email telling me about it. What should I be checking in my Sipura SPA 3000 configuration to try and get my ringing tone back? My SPA is physically located in Israel. This is not a problem I have ever had before. |

| Thanks for your suggestions. These are now my settings under the Line 1 tab: NAT Mapping Enable: no NAT Keep Alive Enable: yes NAT Keep Alive Msg: $NOTIFY NAT Keep Alive Dest: $PROXY but I still am not getting a ringing tone for incoming calls! My setting for the NAT Keep Alive Intvl: is 15. I see there is a string of NAT Support Parameters under the SIP tab. Any suggestions here? |

You should not have to enable any NAT support from the Sipura. Usually the Sipura is forced to re-register often enough that any NAT support from within the Sipura is not required. So I would suggest you set "NAT Keep Alive Enable" to No. |

| Thanks for your response. I do not still have the issue. I found that an outgoing call I made to the UK had somehow got stuck in the system. When I went into the online Voice Portal and 'hung up' the call, everything reverted to normal. This has hapenned since and BV say they have now updated my firmware which should permanently take care of this problem. I do not pretend to understand what the NAT settings do! As everything is working well now I am just going to leave everything as it now is. |
