I have the same problem when dialing the **282 FWD => Broadvoice gateway from my FWD line.

As soon as I hit the second asterisk, my SPA-841 immediately gives me a busy signal.

Here is my FWD dial plan for comparison

xxx|xxxxx|*1xxxxxxxxxx|x.T|x.#

My guess is that you need to modify it like:

xxx|xxxxx|*1xxxxxxxxxx|**xxxx.T|x.T|x.#

The T means "wait 4 seconds to timeout"

**282 works great
011 0393 then BV works great.

Now I can call from any FWD using BV from anywhere without taking anything with me.
and get my pstn calls to FWD usin direct or BV

I do not know about sipbroker as I can not use it's settings in my dialplan on the sipura 1001, but the fwd to broadvoice link **282 areacode number still works.
