Default EyeBeam, Video calls, and Encryption

I have been using the Xten eyeBeam softphone with BroadVoice for the past month, and I have found it to work better than X-Pro.

So, now I'm wondering if BroadVoice is moving to offer video phone service like Vonage (summer 2005). Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

Of course, the glaring gap in VOIP offerings is encryption -- at least from the customer to the SIP proxy. This is particularly important to users on public wifi networks or shared LANs (eg, cable customers).

I note that X-Tunnels (http://xtunnels.org) could provide encryption with existing Softphone clients like X-Pro.

Anybody have any insight into where Broadvoice is going in this regard?
