| I have figured out the configuration for the D-Link DVG-G1402S wireless router for use with Broadvoice. Below are links to the router configuration settings. Important note here: The DVG-G1402S is a wireless router and the config panel is NOT the same as the DVG-1402S router. The D-Link DVG-1402S is not wireless and the panel does not have as many advanced features for SIP as the DVG-G1402S router. If you are buying the D-Link router...then get the DVG-G1402S and not the DVG-1402S router. (Make sure there are 2 G's in the part number or you will be sorry. Configuration settings: ********************* SERVER CONFIGURATION ********************* SCREEN SHOT (TOP HALF) SCREEN SHOT (BOTTOM HALF) SIP Server Server FQDN ====> ENABLED IP Address ====> 0 .0 .0 .0 Domain Name ====> SIP.BROADVOICE.COM Port ====> 5060 Secondary Server FQDN ====> DISABLED Secondary IP Address ====> 0 .0 .0 .0 Secondary Domain Name ====> Secondary Port ====> 5060 Outbound Proxy State ====> ENABLED Outbound Proxy Sever FQDN ====> ENABLED Outbound Proxy IP Address ====> 0 .0 .0 .0 Outbound Proxy Domain Name ====> proxy.atl.broadvoice.com [i] use the city closest to you that broadvoice has a proxy ex: proxy.nyc.broadvoice.com (New York City) proxy.lax.broadvoice.com (Los Angeles) proxy.bos.broadvoice.com (Boston) Outbound Proxy Port ====> 5060 Use DNS-SRV ====> (CHECKED) Disabled [top]> (UNCHECKED) Enabled |

| One important thing to note: Make sure that you are using the ORIGNAL firmware with the D-Link DVG-G1402S router: version 1.00.011GNR is the original version DO NOT upgrade the firmware to version 1.2. That version has all of the VOIP options removed and you will not be able to configure your VOIP. |
| |||
| If you have Firmware version 1.2 of the D-Link DVG-G1402S router, you can access the VOIP settings at: http://192.168.15.1/admin Be sure to include the '/admin' at the end as that will access the VOIP menu options. |
