Default BYOD + Sipura 1001

I just bought a Sipura-1001 from Voxilla and signed up for the Broadvoice BYOD plan. I signed up as the generic plan since I want to use a bunch of different devices depending on my location.

I used the Voxilla SPA wizard to configure my device. I have not made any other changes to the device configuration. However I cannot get *69 to work. I get that "Phone is disconnected" tone.

I am not sure what is wrong. On the "Regional Tab" I have the "Call Return Code" set to *69. All the other features seem to work. And I can dial *69 from the Broadvoice "Call Manager" without an issue.

Try removing *69 from the vertical service codes configuration on the SPA.

Thanks! That worked. Not sure why all the other "*" features work since they are still listed in my Sipura config.

Because they can be handled locally okay. BroadVoice may require the *69 sent to the switch to properly do it.
