Hello-

I've been trying to get a hold of BV customer service for a week now to ask these questions, but I end up in an endless queue that finally just drops my call.

I went to this page to read about the BV WiSip phone:

I clicked on Get WiSip and it brings me to the order page, but after clicking through the options I don't get any choice to choose anything except the standard ATA.

Have they stopped supplying this?

Now the second more important question. BV supplies the setup passwords for their other equipment (like the Sipura). Will they provide it for the WiSip phone?

I'm going to add another line to my Asterisk box, and I thought it would be good to get everything in one shot. I'm not trying to skirt the system by using subzidized equipment without the service, since I would be keeping the BV line active (just routed through Asterisk).

Obviously to make this work the WiSip phone would need to be unlocked so I could reconfigure it to connect through my * box.

I really wish they would just answer the phone, *sigh* I don't want to make them take a return when I find out I can't reconfigure the phone.

I don't think BroadVoice is selling the WiSIP phone any longer. They've provided the password for the WiSIP phone to me on more than one occasion.
