Default BV and the UTStarcom F3000 -- running into difficulties

I have tried all of the excellent advice offered on the post: Configuring the UTStarcom F3000 for BroadVoice. However, I am still unable to get my F3000 to work. I can reach the device through its IP address (http://192.168.2.108/ ) and have made all of the changes stated on the post (coupled with my own account phone number and auth_password). I reboot the device and after several minutes get the following message on the F3000: “No Service, Try Other APs.”

Could the problem lie with a setting on my wireless router? (A Linksys WRTSL54GS)

What is left to try?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Leslie

Where are you failing? First the F3000 will do "Connecting to xxxx" where xxxx is the AP you are trying to connect to. If the negotiation with your router is successful then the F3000 should do "registering to BroadVoice". If either are unsuccessful then you will get the error message that you are mentioning. If you are failing in the first case then it has nothing to do with Broadvoice. I have seen both cases fail with my own F3000 which is configured correctly when I go on the road. I am assuming that they dont have all the bugs out yet. Also what security are you using, Open AP, WEP or WPA?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am getting two messages, the first "connecting to linksys" (linksys, of course is my router's name). The second message is "registering via linksys" (note, it is still not mentioning Broadvoice, the SIP profiole name). Then, "No Service, try other APs"

I think I need to contact BV...

You need to post your configuration to see if we can spot something wrong.
