| With much help from members of these forums, for which I thank you all, I have basically configured my SPA3000 to work with BV. I have two remaining points which I will deal with in separate topic threads. I can dial in to my PSTN line and bridge to my Line 1 VoIP from a string of numbers in a PSTN access list. As there is no authenticatyion involved as soon as I get a connection I get a dial tone and can dial on. The problem is that I seem to only be able to connect to [USA] 1-800 numbers. Calls to any other number, either a US number or an international number get greeted with a BV recorded message telling me the number is not in service [it is!] or telling me to try later. Can anyone please tell me how to work around this :?: |

| Based on your other thread, it sounds like you may also have a Dial Plan conflict that is sending corrupted digits into BV. The dialed number information on the Info page will give you insight into what is going on.

| I think I'm having a similar problem! (see other thread below "resource not available" --- that's what it says in the call manager, but on the phone, the voice says cannot be completed at this time... but dialing 800 numbers, or even 611 works great!

| Would either of you care to post either the Last Dialed Number information from your Info tab, as PhoneBoy requested, or your Dial Plan, as I requested? Without this information there is very little chance of solving either of your problems.

| Thanks to weiyu99 who suggested a solution to my dial out problem on PSTN to VoIP - I could only connect to 1-800 numbers. He suggested the following in a post from November 24, 2004: Under the audio configuration of the PSTN Line, change DTMF Process INFO: to NO and DTMF process AVT: to NO. I don't know what any of that means but it has worked for me. That being the case I assume there is no reason to post my dial plan. :P |

| Okay, well I didn't want to hijack this thread, but I changed those DTMF settings, and this fixed my problem too! Thank you all for your help! And thank you Gabbai - for posting the solution, instead of "oh it works now" - like I see on some other boards! I appreciate it everyone!!1
