@ always - Make sure your 'upgrade enable' is set to yes. Then turn off when finished.

@ Phone boy - I should have looked at this sticky earlier - would have saved me some time.

FYI - The Wizard has *not* been upgraded to turn these parameters to off. I just used the wiz today and ran accross this problem.

You mean to disable provisioning? yeah, I should probably add something to disable provisioning.

Michael,

Thank you for helping me out on the updating to 2.0.11g firmware. Now I am posting my latest configuration.

No, I meant the DTMF Process INFO: to NO and DTMF process AVT: to NO. I ran the wiz yesterday and determined that I could only reach 800 #'s, not realizing that this thread existed. Running the wiz results in the above set to 'yes'.

That's funny, because I remember setting those parameters to NO specifically in the Wizard. The code says that's what it should be doing. Hm... I'll have to investigate.

I asked above 'Does the above "change DTMF Process INFO: to NO and DTMF process AVT: to NO" apply to other Sipura models using BV or only to the PSTN side of the 3000?' because I beleive that my 2100 (on BV) had those set to YES by the wizard.

TIA,
- Don

The same backend code is used to configure all of the SPAs (and the Grandstreams, BTW), so I'm confused as to why that would be occuring.

I used both BV/BV and BV/Stanaphone wizard profiles, and they both resulted in yes to both the above variables.

May I make another recommendation.... For those w/ BV, whose voicemail is retrieved with *86, it would have been better if the wizard had not entered *86 in the Call Back Deact Code field. I think a lot of people will thrown by this, as the codes in the Sipura take precedence over the network codes. Thanks....

I just checked both lines on my SPA-1001 and they are both set to "YES" for the two settings in question. I used the wizard for both lines.

May I second the *86 configuration? I didn't realize that was the issue. I changed my Call Back Deact Code to *89 and now I'm back in business Maybe this could be done just for the BV configuration?

Sorry, I'm still confused. If we have a Sipura2100 (using BV or anyhone else), should we change DTMF Process INFO: to NO and DTMF process AVT: to NO?

BTW: I got bit by the *86 problem with BV as well. Found an obsure post here (I think) which clued me in to taking that out. I think that there are other *xx codes which also have this problem for BV users, as many/most services are handled by the BV switch instead of by the ATA intercept.

TIA,
- Don
