Are all those call features set at BV or provisionied into your device. I see that you can put speed dials, etc. right into the Sipura. If you set speed dials for instance at the BV web site, are they seperate from the ones in the box? I ask because I have provisioning turned off.

The behavior you are asking about is not dependent upon whether you are BV provisioned or self provisioned.

To start off, there are two ways to effect most call handling features - intercept the star code in your ATA and send a SIP Command packet to the SIP server, or send the bare star code to the SIP server directly. BV (unlike most other providers) requires that you send the star code directly to their server for action.

Now, Speed Dials are another animal. You have three different Speed Dial features available to you - 8 slots in your SPA and 8 or 100 slots on the BV service. The 8 numbers you can program into your SPA are completely independent of what you may do with the BroadVoice feature, and both will work regardless of who does your provisioning.
