Default BV - down? 2005MAR18@0135 UTC

BV seems to be down for both me and my local friend who has it as well (Cali) - just curious if anyone else is getting "Ther person you are trying to reach is unavailable" then hang up.

On the other end, it rings once, passes the caller ID, then hangs up.

BV Provision my device? Yes
BV Bill paid? Yes
BV Worked 1 hour earlier? Yes

So, I'm calling them - just curious if me and my friend are the only ones.

This msg is played no matter if I call from/to a BV number, or from/to a non-BV number.

Default BV - down?

I just encountered the same problem when calling a local area code (I'm in 415, trying to call 650).

But on the bright side, calls to Brazil still go through

chris.

Okay - well now I know its not just me.

Got ahold of BV tech support, and he was saying I think you may need to do a firmware upgrade and started to put me on hold, then hung up on me (accidents to happen) - but then I called back and its the normal wait wait wait

so..

I did a manual reset of the 3000 - then provisioned it via their website...
same problem

so hopefully they'll fix it soon - I only wish it would say something like "technical problems" instead of " not available" but I guess that's better than just a re-order tone!

It's back up now...................that's whats nice about BV - may be down and crazy -but gets fixed pretty quick once they know about it.

Is there a way in which the Voxilla site could display the current status of the BV network (and others, maybe) and the avarage ping times to the three sip servers from some predefined locations?

just an idea to avoid situations similar to the ones discribed.

They appear to still be down, at least for my 602 number. I get the "All Circuits are Busy" message. I have rebooted and even tried DCA and LAX with no luck.
