Default Broadvoice, Siprua-3K, and POTS

Greetings, all...

I'm planning on purchasing a Siprua-3K device to enable VOIP and POTS to co-exist on my current single-line phones in my home. My plan is to use POTS for basic local calling, support for my alarm, and for 911, and the VOIP via Broadvoice for all long-distance.

Can anyone give me an indication of how difficult this will be to set up? I'm a VOIP newbie, and while I'm pretty handy with technical/networking stuff, this will be a first-time-thing for me and I don't have craploads of time to troubleshoot...

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Neil

The Sipura can do all that you're looking for. Your list of requirements excludes PSTN-VoIP and VoIP-PSTN calling, which would make the setup quite easy. One more thing, the SPA3000 is obsolete, go for the SPA-3102, its a better product.

However, Broadvoice hasn't been a great experience for quite a few people around. You may want to search the net before choosing your VoIP provider.
