Default Broadvoice with Grandstream BudgetTone 100

Very much at the end of my very long tether with BV

I started having big problems during the big fat outage of May. Things have calmed down now, and I can mostly make calls to UK, France and Switzerland without issues.

However, since the big outage, I can no longer make US calls, without the line dropping after anything from 10 seconds to 2 minutes, and the Grandstream phone crashing. I can still make long calls to the UK without this problem. Broadvoice support have been 'helping', suggesting different configs, but have been getting nowhere. Tried the xten softphone that can make US calls. It seems that there is an interaction of the grandstream and broadvoice calls to the US -- I don't reckon it can be the actual phone device since long UK calls have worked almost fine.

Has anyone else had a similar issue (seems that bv is in a total mess so I presume someone might have!!) and can anyone help?

I was also promised a rebate from BV, which has failed to materialise. I'm actually wondering now whether they're deliberately scuppering my service so that I'll find a different provider, as I had a heated email exchange with Angela Epstein earlier in May, where she got her knickers in such a twist that she suggested I go to a different provider because I didn't appreciate what VOIP martyrs they were being. (she took offence at me saying it was a deceit to not contact customers about the outage and to place a letter on a non public area of the website).

oh and just to add, it seems I'm almost always able to make US calls if it's to Broadvoice support's line....

Who is configuring your Grandstream? If BV are configuring your ATA you should ask them to find the source of the problem.

If you are self-provisioning, please post a sanitized snapshot of your configuration.
