Default Broadvoice coupon

I have one unused Broadvoice coupon. It allows free BYOD signup and
one month of service (even on Unlimited World +) free. Also free is
sign up for additional services such as virtual numbers during the first month.

Your savings if you sign up for Unlimited World plus is about $35, more if you add more features.

If you are interested, let me know. I'll take any reasonable offer.

Default RE: Broadvoice coupon

If this coupon came with a Voxilla purchase it is only valid for a device purchased from Voxilla, and only one coupon can be used with any Electronic Serial Number. Unfortunately, it won't be valid for a device purchased elsewhere or a used device that has previously been registered with BV, since you won't get a clean ESN match.

If you got your coupon elsewhere, the rules of that vendor's agreement apply.

There is actually one way to get around the ESN restriction, and that is to sign up for a generic BYOD account when redeeming the coupon. When I bought my second Sipura from Voxilla, I used the free month of BV to experiment with asterisk.

well I dont think there is a generic BYOD device anymore or unless I am doing it wrong. Its giving me the option to only use the Sipuras...Can i change the device and MAC after I sign up?

On the first signup page, select "I Want to Use My Own SIP Device - on the BroadVoice BYOD Program." On the next page, select "Not Listed (Generic SIP)," which is at the bottom of the list.

Well I dont think that I have the option of choosing what device I want anymore. From the coupon number they know what device I purchased and will only give me the option for that device type.Like I purchased the spa3000 and BT102 and used the spa3000 coupon, it just gave me the option for sipuras. Not only that. When i selected spa3000 and gave it my BT102 MAC it rejected it saying its not the correct MAC. Then when I gave it spa3000's MAC...thats when it opened the account.
Then I had to email CS to get the SIP credential and now the account is up and running with my BT102.

You would have to get the mac address for that device and also the invoice number since in the past I was given invalid coupon numbers and had to call voxilla for new coupon number. Once you get the account set-up you can then change the device type and pick generic and use a different device like asterisk software. The sipura can always be configured as an extension of asterisk so I do not think you will have a problem with this.
Now I too have an unused bv coupon which I am not planning to use with BV, which frankly I do not recommend anymore because the quality of their service is really bad right now. You are better off with going with a different provider such as axvoice or vbuzzer(which I am very impressed with even though I am using their free trial)
Yes you will get a free month of BV and if you stick with their service for 3 months the person that refered you to them will get a few bucks off their bill, but what's the point if you get disconnected periodically while on the phone with someone or get an echo, or all of a sudden in the middle of a conversation the other party does not hear you and you have to redail again. The only type BV works without problems was when I called a per minute country or phone number. Yes I provision my device myself but back last march april I did not have these problems, now it is a constant nuasance. I will probably switch some of my accounts to vbuzzer when their fee schedule is finalized, that will also free up a line on my sipuras for another provider.
just my 2cents.

Do these coupons have an expiration date? I bought three Sipura 3000's the past year and a half (two purchases).

Thanks

There is no fixed expiration date and no plan to stop providing coupons. On the other hand, there is no guarantee that what I just said won't change tomorrow.

Hello. -- Where can I get this coupon? I purchased a SPA-3000 about a month ago and am interested in signing up with BV.
