Not worth commenting on, just another angry irrational person.

Default RE: Broadvoice Complaints?

I agree ! VoIP isn't quite ready for primetime but it's a great alternative.

Bart

P.S. I have four BroadVoice lines and since the "big meltdown" only a minimum of problems !!!

Default I cannot believe the apologists!

I agree with you in that VoIP is not a fully fleshed out technology, but Broadvoice's service is nothing more than pathetic.

When I started using Broadvoice, I was an extremely happy customer. The call quality was great, the service was reliable.

The came then meltdown in May.

Since then the following problems have occured:
Emails to customer support have been unanswered, as in NEVER answered.
2 cases have been opened for 1 problem, no updates.
Calls to technical support get disconnected.
Problem still goes unresolved, and it is an acknowledged issue on their end.
Their website does not say anything about system outages.

But, hey, the billing system works well!

Their customer service is unresponive, which is pathetic.

If other VoIP providers are this bad, then there is no hope at all for this technology.

I had 3 accounts at 2 locations with Broadvoice. Being a customer since May '04, I was very patient when their May '05 problems hit.

But when they had their meltdown, my service never recovered over the last two months. Trying to make outbound calls, which you could actually carry a conversation over, became impossible. Either I, or the person I called just wouldn't hear each other for upwards to 10 to 20 seconds a time. Totally useless.

Yes, I tried to resolve it, using the (mostly unresponsive email support) and the (totally unable to get through) phone support. After 6 weeks of non-response, I had to call it quits.

Two months later, I'm now with VoicePulse.
