Default Broad Voice Speed Dial 100

I am using a SIPURA SPA-3000 to access BV.

I can get to regular Speed Dialing without a problem and connect to the number I want but I cannot get Speed Dial 100 to work. I entered a series of numbers through the BV portal but when I try dialing any of them through with the Speed Dial 100 code I get a "The number you have dialed is not in service" mesage. I know the numbers are correct. I am dialing, for example, 10005#.

Is there a configuration in the SPA-3000 set up that I need to know about? Is there a change to the standard wizard Dial Plan that I need :?:

Speed Dial 100 does not work unless you are being directly provisioned by BV. In other words, it doesn't work when you configure your Sipura using the Voxilla configurations.

SP100 is a function of BV's equipment. When you use Voxilla to configure your connection, you are handing over the duties that are normally handled by BV to your Sipura for processing (such as star-tones, speed-dial, etc.). When you use BV's direct provisioning, all control codes and tones are sent directly to BV and are transparent to your Sipura.

And I do not believe that option is working yet with Broadvoice. I had set up a bunch of speed dial numbers only to find this out. That is the sort of thing that irritates me, pushing features on their web site that do not work, including LNP. As you can see, this is a 9 month old post.

Per their Tech Support yesterday, SC 100 is not working yet but SC 8 is working... I would encourage you to call them when you have questions. They are very responsive. Some "features" are not yet enabled... The more calls they get about them the sooner the may enable them.....

I just tried it. It appears that the service is not working (yet).

In my case that is not true. I signed up for the BYOD option over a month ago with BV and the dial 100 has worked from the first day with a Sipura 2000. I entered the numbers using the web link under outgoing calls and it worked great from day 1. In my case, I set up the line manually, not through

I just dial #xx# where x is the speed dial number and it connects almost instantly, even to European numbers. Just make sure the dialplan has an entry of #xx in it.

Great - I added #xx# to the Dial Plan on my SPA-3000 using BroadVoice and Speed Dial 100 works a treat. I've dialed USA, Israel and the UK and they all work. :P

drofli,

Good to know. I was not aware of that, although when I signed up with my Sipura 1000 BYOD, I was locked out, since I let BV provision it, so I could not have fixed it that easily. I did ask for the PW and was denied access to my ATA.
