| When I had broadvoice, i DID have 2 numbers, one from New York and one fron London... for all intents and purposes, in terms of voice mail, forwarding, etc etc, there is ONLY ONE set of rules you can setup... i.e, no separate control for the individual numbers. However, I've seen on voxilla forums that if configured with Asterix, you CAN distinguish b/w the two numbers, based on the SIP header. But all that configuration needs to be doen in your Asterix box, will have nothing to do with BV.

| Ah, that's what I feared. I guess I'll just continue using Telasip for my second number, and at least have some limited control of it through my Sipura user settings. Plus it gives me a second line out. I was just hoping for a more integrated solution. I've tinkered quite a bit with Asterisk, but my * skills are not ready for primetime! Certainly not good enough to use for my primary phone. Thanks for the quick response. |
